Carroll Williams - Owner
The
financier of the project, the love of my life, my
soul mate and my husband is Carroll Williams. Carroll
was born and raised in southeast Georgia and is a
graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Electrical
Engineering. His early career was one of many facets
dabbling in used cars as well as a battery company.
But Carroll's true calling came while employed by
SAIC, when negotiated with his employer to break off
and form VME Microsystems International Corporation,
otherwise known as "VMIC". He put together
a private placement stock offering and raised a million
dollars to start what became a multi-million dollar
company. Starting with only fourteen employees and
a head full of ambition, VMIC became the world leader
in the industrial computer industry growing to three
hundred employees. In September 2001, Carroll decided
it was time for a change of life and sold VMIC to
G.E. Fanuc, a division of G.E., and after retiring
in December 2002, Carroll spends his time riding the
tractor, racing his Corvettes, camping in the RV and,
of course, watching me follow my own dream.
