Parades

This is something we all love to participate in, including the horses. Every year on the first Saturday in December our local TV station WAAY 31 puts on the annual Christmas Parade. It is a lot of work to get at least 10 to 12 horse in downtown Huntsville and keep them calm while bands are playing, fire engines are blowing horns, kids and clowns running around and lets not forget the Shriners riding their little motorcycles and go carts. We have been participating since 2002 and hope to be a regular.
